EVALUASI PROGRAM GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH TERHADAP MINAT BACA SISWA DI SDN 08 LUBUK LAYANG
Abstract
This article aims to observe the Lubuk Layang SDN 08 School Lteration Movement Program. This type of research is a qualitative approach in the form of descriptive. The research location is SDN 08 Lubuk Layang. Research subjects are the principal, administration, and students. The interview instruments used were
interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: (a) The implementation of the Literacy Movement program at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang has been carried out since one year ago until now, (b) interest in reading at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang is quite high, when the library is open, students run to the library to read, (c) the impact of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang is the increase in students' interest in reading. It can be seen from the increase in academic learning and the attitude of confidence to appear and tell stories in front of the class, and (d) the observations of students in class III and V namely, the holding of the School Literacy Movement, students are confident enough to read the results of their literacy and dare to appear in front of the class. Thus, the evaluation of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang needs to be upgraded to the development stage by involving various considerations and facilities
