SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN (SIM) SEBAGAI SARANA PENCAPAIAN E-GOVERNMENT
Abstract
The author wants to discuss the importance of using management information systems for the implementation and achievement of effective and efficient e-government. Where the role of technology in the current era will greatly assist the work of the bureaucracy to carry out its functions in order to achieve good governance in accordance with Law no. 32 of 2004, Law no. 28 of 2004, and Law no. 28 of 1999. In accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2003 concerning National Policies and Strategies, the government's initiatives for the implementation of e-government are getting stronger, where management information systems are expected to help work and become a means of making decisions in order to achieve government functions. So the authors conclude that management information systems can help the bureaucracy as a support for organizational performance, support in decision making, distribute information quickly, and as a means of supporting other operational activities. However, in practice, management information systems, e-government must have obstacles, where human resources are less competent, to inadequate technology, it all depends on how each organization overcomes these obstacles.

Co-Authorship
If the article was jointly prepared by other authors, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. JSS will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. JSS will only communicate with the corresponding author.
Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JSS.
Miscellaneous
JSS will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. JSS's editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.
