PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF NUMBER HEADS TOGETHER ( NHT ) DENGAN BANTUAN ALAT PERAGA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MATERI PELUANG DI KELAS X TKR SMK NEGERI 1 SEMARANG
Abstract
Rendahnya prestasi belajar matematika dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya dari siswa itu sendiri yaitu kecerdasan, bakat, minat dan motivasi.Selain itu juga dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran dan pengelolaan kelas oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan : untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan bantuan alat peraga terhadap prestasi belajar siswa materi peluang. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adanya pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan menerapkan Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered HeadsTogether (NHT) dengan bantuan alat peraga dibandingkan pembelajaran pemahaman konsep(konvensional)pada materi Peluang. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian experiment.Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa klas X SMK Negeri 1 Semarang Tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sedangkan sampelnya mengambil dua kelas yang dari 15 kelas secara random yang mana kelas X TKR1 sebagai kelas experiment dan kelas X TKR2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa test uraian, untuk mengukur prestasi belajar siswa matematika peluang.
Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh rerata nilai posttest untuk kelas experiment 79, dan rata-rata nilai posttest untuk kelas kontrol 75,6667.Dengan taraf signifikan 5% hasil uji-t menunjukkan thitung = 2,416 dan ttabel= 1,667. Karenathitung>ttabelmaka H0 ditolak danH1 diterima artinya rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen lebih dari rata-rata nilai kelas control, maka Metode Pembelajaran tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan bantuan Alat Peraga pada materi peluang lebih baik daripada metode pemahaman konsep
